Weekday Delights
Welcome to my new weekly series - weekday delights. I share my favorites right now and a little playlist to roll us through the week.
There is nothing - and let me say this very clearly and dramatically - nothing as lovely as mid October.
In North Carolina, the weather is cooler, football is on the tv constantly and soups are in the slow cooker. I’m delighting in building new traditions with my young children and marveling at how magical they make life every single day.
Those few things have been so damn delightful this week, and I’m also finding some delights in the digital space that I would love to share with you all. Lets get into it —
Eyes & Ears
(What I’m listening to and watching)
This album by Gregory Alan Isakov is on repeat this time of year.
I really enjoyed this online flow with Adriene from Yoga with Adriene
Nobody Wants This…need I say more?
I somehow just found the podcast The Lazy Genius, and the host lives in my city! This is saving me in my current season of motherhood.
Weekly Reads
(I’m constantly reading like five books at a time… here’s my line up)
Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarr
Atomic Habits by James Clear
Eastern Body, Western Mind by Anodea Judith
The Wild Edge of Sorrow by Francis Weller
A playlist from me to you
(consider this a mixed tape, made with lots of love)
I adore Yoga with Adriene! She got me hooked on yoga and I regularly go back to her when I need my motivation refreshed
